About the event

Most critical incidents don’t happen in good lighting, yet most qualification courses do. This two-day course starts each day in daylight and runs into full darkness, so officers build skills step by step and then put them to work as the light fades.

Training covers handheld and weapon-mounted light techniques, light discipline, target identification, and using light and shadow to your advantage, all applied to building searches, vehicle approaches, and partner movement. Expect high repetition, real-time instructor feedback, and scenarios that build across both days.
